We’re pleased to share that Barry Teeling will take on an expanded role, assuming responsibility for the regeneration of the Sanctuary Cove Retail Village. This exciting next phase will include upgrades to the Grocer, improvements to public amenities, and the rollout of a refreshed leasing strategy—all aimed at further enhancing the Sanctuary Cove brand and lifestyle experience. Barry brings deep retail and placemaking expertise to this role, and his leadership will be instrumental in unlocking the full potential of Sanctuary Cove as a premier waterfront destination.
Additionally, we are excited to announce the appointment of Claire Back as General Manager – Events & Partnerships at Mulpha Events. A respected leader in Australia’s events industry, Claire brings over 20 years of experience spanning food and wine, motorsport, and fashion. She’s held senior roles at some of the country’s most celebrated events—including as General Manager of Marketing and Experience at the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix and most recently, Acting Chief Operating Officer at the PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival.
In other leadership changes, after 19 years of dedicated service, Tim Spencer has made the decision to step down as Head of Development. Tim has played a pivotal role in our transformation from a land-focused business to a diversified developer of land, townhomes, and large-scale apartments. His contribution to building a strong and capable development team has been invaluable.
We’re also pleased to announce that Andrew Hall has been promoted to Head of Real Estate. This newly expanded role brings together our Funds Management, Real Estate Investment, and Real Estate Development divisions under one leadership structure. With over 20 years at Mulpha, Andrew has been instrumental in the commercial structuring and negotiations across our real estate portfolio, and we’re confident his leadership will continue to drive strong outcomes for the Group.
